The Quest 4D Gore-Tex Forces 2 High mission boot from Salomon is the best choice for combat use on any terrain. Especially its closed lacing eyelets make it the ideal operational boot for skydivers or when rappelling. The 4D chassis provides the support of a mountaineering boot with the flexibility of a sprint boot. The Quest 4D GTX Forces 2 EN is also designed for walking comfort, with technologies that reduce fatigue during long marches. This versatility makes it a modern operational boot for official and military use.

Certified to CE EN ISO 20347:2012 and associated standards for puncture protection, anti-static properties and for slip resistance.

The Anti Debris Mesh material combined with the full grain leather Salomon uses for the Quest results in an extra durable and flexible top layer that is non-reflective. With the GORE-TEX® membrane underneath, the mission boot becomes a companion in all weather conditions. The 3D rubber toe cap and rubber heel cup protect the foot from impact and make it very comfortable for use on gravel or rough terrain. The SensiFitTM system wraps the foot from the midsole to the classic lacing system for a secure, snug, and virtually custom fit on the foot. On the inside, the boot is reinforced with an additional material to support it during climbing and fast rappelling.

Of course, the most important thing in a multifunctional mission boot is the high-tech sole construction Salomon uses. In addition to employing the anti-puncture Enigma Zero HT2 insole and anti-static technology, Salomon is relying on a proven combination here. The Contagrip® MD outsole provides non-slip grip on the mountain, the 4D chassis provides stability while walking and the Energy Cell midsole provides optimal cushioning and performance. Finally, the OrthoLite® insole in the shoe provides a comfortable fit and additional cushioning, while the perforations in the sole support the foot climate.
