Leo Köhler has produced a long version of the KBS combat jacket. As part of the German Armed Forces' combat clothing set, the KBS combat jacket has more of a smock or parka cut without a hood and impresses with its perfect ventilation and improved pocket configuration.

The KBS long combat jacket from Leo Köhler was manufactured in accordance with the German Armed Forces TL as part of the Special Forces combat clothing set. It is characterized in particular by the sophisticated ventilation system and the optimized pocket configuration. The optimal ventilation of the KBS long combat jacket is ensured by two zipper openings each under the armpits and upper arms. This allows air to circulate perfectly during movement.
The collar of the KBS long combat jacket is lined with soft fleece on the inside and, like the hem of the jacket, can be adjusted using a drawstring with a stopper. Another drawstring is located above the hip area of the jacket.
Leo Köhler has equipped the long combat jacket with the same pocket configuration as the short version. There are zipped upper arm pockets on the upper arms, including slide-in compartments and Velcro surfaces. The two chest pockets have a side opening with a zipper and an additional patch chest pocket with a covering flap with Velcro fastener. The combat jacket also has two spacious bellows pockets on the side front. These two pockets can also be opened from the side using a zipper. Next to each is an equipment pocket with a lid and buckle. The two pockets are large enough to hold up to 4 G36 magazines, each of which can be secured with an internal rubber loop. On the lower back of the KBS long combat jacket there is a large bellows pocket which can be closed from above with a flap and three slotted buttons. In addition, this spacious pocket has zipper openings on both sides to ensure better access to the contents of the pocket.
The full-length two-way zipper on the front is secured with a flap with Velcro fastener. A Velcro loop for rank insignia etc. is located on the top of the flap.
As with the short version, the KBS long combat jacket from Leo Köhler has reinforced elbow areas with pockets for protectors. Furthermore, a crotch protector is sewn into the inner back area, which can be fastened with two additional buttons in the front area.
