The MX762-1 features an innovative design that securely holds a single 9mm double-stack pistol magazine. Its minimalist design makes the MX762-1 pistol magazine pouch particularly lightweight and offers additional flexibility in choosing the most suitable closure system for the application. The pouch's minimalist design with open top and bottom requires the use of the included grip clip to securely store the magazine, while eliminating the need for a cover flap to secure the magazine or a rubber cord. This helps to reduce the overall weight and ensures a minimalist design. The MX762-1 pouch can hold 9mm pistol magazines in various sizes. All you have to do is adjust the position of the flap: Move it either further up or down through the Velcro® attachment point of the pouch. Alternatively, you can simply remove the flap completely. The MX762-1 pouch offers three ways to prevent the magazine from falling out. One of these is the use of a grip clip, which puts the least strain on the pouch. Another option is the additional use of a cover flap or a rubber cord to secure the magazine - both variants ensure optimum placement of the magazine. The rubber cord can be used in conjunction with the supplied Alpha Tab and grippy features such as the increased seam thickness of the cover flap to make handling easier. The grip clip exerts enough pressure on the magazine like a spring to hold it securely in the open-bottomed pouch and also provides a smooth draw resistance for faster reloading. Since the pouch has no bottom, the grip clip must be used or the magazine will fall out. The Grip-Clip also eliminates the need for an additional locking system to prevent the magazine from falling out of one end of the pouch. The Grip-Clip is securely fastened to the pouch with a Velcro® fastener.
