After extensive testing, Eickhorn was able to prevail over all other well-known Solingen manufacturers with the KM2000 model
Starting in 2003, the Bundeswehr officially equipped its combat troops with the Eickhorn KM2000
Since German soldiers have been "defending" the basic democratic order even in the Hindu Kush, the need for mission-oriented equipment has very quickly become apparent
In order to meet the conditions of desert-like operational areas, Eickhorn now offers the KM2000 in a Coyote-colored version
