The electric shock device Power Max PTB 500,000 volts with double fuse for your safety.
In addition to the normal fuse by on/off switch, the device has a hand strap that is pulled out at the moment of possible violent snatching, thus rendering the device inoperable.
Thus, this stun gun cannot be used against yourself. The Power Max stun gun also has a fuse switch, a screwed mounting clip and a solid housing.
Due to gold-plated electrodes, there is no residual charge on the contacts after switching off.
Use and effects of the POWER Max stun gun:
- 0.5 second....a short shock that causes muscle spasm and fright in the attacker.
- 1-2 seconds...medium blow, which causes the attacker to fall and be psychologically shaken, but the attacker is able to move again after a short moment.
- 3-5 seconds...full blow that causes the attacker to fall, lose orientation, and go into shock for several minutes.

According to the regulations of the Physikalisch Technischen Bundesamt (PTB) the maximum discharge time for this stun gun is 10 seconds. After that the device switches off automatically for 2 seconds.
The 10 seconds can be at a stretch or with several interruptions of less than 2 seconds. When the switch is released, the device is ready for operation again after 2 seconds.
Only stun guns with PTB test mark are approved for sale in Germany.
