Beschreibung
The Kukri is a classic blade made famous by the Gurkha regiments serving under the British Crown. The Kukri Machete has a head-heavy, forward-facing edge that allows it to function as an axe while maintaining the versatility of a long blade. Extrema Ratio has combined ancient and modern design concepts with the KH Kukri Machete. The knife-like hollow grind, closer to the handle, results in a fine, sharp edge without compromising the overall thickness of the back of the blade (which requires great robustness). The tip area of the blade is instead ground flat and well angled for effortless penetration into wood and vegetation. While similar tools are usually made of softer steel alloys to provide resiliency and ease of honing, Extrema Ratio uses the hard BÖHLER N690 steel to achieve sufficient resiliency, resulting in a remarkably durable edge.
Included is a high quality Cordura sheath with MOLLE/ PALS attachment system, belt loop and with thigh strap.
