The Qvarfort wooden axe from the Swedish manufacturer Hultafors has been designed for felling smaller trees and for limbing. The axe head is shaped from Swedish Ovako carbon steel on forging hammers. The partial hardening of the cutting edge is a special quality feature. Hickory wood treated with linseed oil is used for the handle. A beautifully finished brown leather head scabbard secures the axe head during transport
