Short description
The KEY-BAK equipment holder with an extremely tear-resistant rope made of Kevlar® and a rope spool with detent system.
Material
Housing: polycarbonate; rope: aramid (Kevlar®).
Beschreibung
KEY-BAK was the first company to develop a retractable equipment holder in 1948. Their Super48 series equipment tether is the most popular and widely used equipment tether in the U.S. government.
KEY-BAK Ratch-It Retractable Ratcheting Tether has a plastic housing and a rugged Kevlar® rope lock. The rope spool locks in 5 intervals and with a slight tug on the cord, the spool unlocks and retracts.
The retractable belay system has a quiet rewind. Depending on the weight of the gear, the pull rope does not prevent it from falling to the ground when you let go, but it does prevent loss.
