While both the Magpul Gen 1 UBR and STR shoulder rests have TYPE 1 QD Swivels pre-installed on the left side of the stock, the Type 2 Sling Mount Kit can be installed on the opposite side to add additional mounting hardware. Button QD Sling Swivels or the Magpul QDM. For use of ambidextrous sling swivels with the SGA, MOE -, MOE -, MOE AK-, Zhukov-S-, Hunter 700- and Hunter X-22 shoulder rests., the Type 1 and Type 2 Sling Mount Kit must be used.
Note: Sling Mount Kit TYPE 2, cannot be used to operate ambidextrous swivel rifle sling on ACS or ACS-L shoulder rests.
