The Beartooth 80 from Mystery Ranch is designed for users who value organization and multiple access to essential gear. This pack is based on the Guide Light MT Frame™ frame carrying system and offers extensive features for carrying heavy loads as well as quicker and easier use of the Overload™ features. The rigid yet dynamic Guide Light MT Frame™ (Mystery Tech) frame carrying system, made of robust yet lightweight materials, provides optimal carrying comfort even with heavy loads. The patented Futura Yoke carrying system effortlessly adjusts to the torso length, providing adequate clearance between the back and frame. The Overload™ feature provides functional expandability via attachment straps between the pack and the frame, allowing you to place most of the weight closest to your back for optimal comfort. The 5-point hip belt features the highly functional Redirect system for solid weight distribution and prevents it from slipping over your hips regardless of the load.
Like the Sawtooth 45, the Beartooth 80 features the unique 270° zipper access, for full access to the main compartment. The 270° -zippered duffel-style opening provides easy access from the top, side or bottom. Multiple pockets on the outside and on the inside flap of the main compartment ensure that you always have everything you need at hand. It also has numerous compression/attachment straps to secure additional gear and compress the pack tightly. The 500D Light Plus fabric offers high tensile and tear strength, which are essential for rugged, purpose-built use
