The NEX-BATON telescopic baton NEX N21C is certified according to the technical guideline (TR) "Baton, short and long" as of April 2006 by the Police Technical Institute (PTI) of the Police Command Academy (PFA) Münster. The TR certificate is based on test report number 195344 dated 17.10.2019.

Compared to conventional models, the NEX-BATON has clear improvements that provide distinct, tactical advantages: The telescopic mechanism has been completely redesigned and clearly improved - with the result that the NEX-BATON is very smooth-running and much more reliable from day one. This excellent mechanism allows the NEX-BATON to be extended to its full length very easily the first time it is "pulled", and it can also be retracted again very easily by pressing a push button.
The new NEX-BATON telescopic insertion pole is made of a high-quality steel alloy (42CrMo steel) that makes it extremely robust. The internal components are also made of first-class materials. All these features make the NEX N21C a resistant and reliable partner in all situations.
The TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomers) grip piece of the NEX-BATON has also been developed completely new and has convinced in the practical test especially by the excellent slip resistance of the material in wet conditions. The NEX-BATON handle feels absolutely comfortable in the hand in any situation and reliably absorbs shocks.
Another advantage is the ease of maintenance of the new NEX-BATON. Without a special tool, the NEX-BATON insertion pole can be effortlessly disassembled and reassembled for cleaning and maintenance.
Suitable for the telescopic baton the 360° rotatable Nextorch belt holster V70 (article 515555) and MOLLE compatible nylon holster V71 (article 515556).
