The Nexus NIJ Level IV (ICW) Side Plate 6 "x8" is a 15 x 20 cm ceramic plate made of a monolithic bonded alumina tile construction combined with aramid.
The Nexus NIJ Level IV (ICW) Side Plate must be used in conjunction with Level IIIa soft ballistics. When used in conjunction with Level IIIa soft ballistics, the Nexus NIJ Level IV (ICW) plate provides balanced protection against the following calibers:
7.62 mm x 63 mm (30.06) - 2 hits.
7.62 mm x 54 mm Heavy Ball Dragunov - 4 hits.
7.62 mm x 51 mm (NATO) Fal, GPMG, etc
