The pans of the Petromax sandwich iron, which can be taken apart via a hinge, are ideal for toasts of size 11 x 11 cm. But also other treats succeed because a practical locking hook holds the toast pans together so that nothing can fall out. From sweet to savory, many things can be tried in the sandwich iron, because the stored residual heat can also be used for gentle baking.

The wooden handle fits comfortably in the hand and the rod ensures sufficient distance from the heat source. The cast iron has a so-called seasoned finish and is therefore ready for immediate use. For cleaning, simply separate the cast halves from each other via the hinge: This is also particularly easy because cast iron has a natural non-stick effect
