The Phantomleaf ORU Balaclava Reversible G2 is fully reversible from WASP Z2 to Z3a. The G2 version is distinguished by the fact that it is equipped with camouflage loops and a face veil. The outer edges of the face veil are extra contour-breaking with a scalloped edge, which minimizes telltale drop shadows. The G2 version has mesh material in the mouth area facilitates inhalation and exhalation, thus also reducing fogging of glasses at the same time. The Balaclava can also be worn as a neck tube by folding the head section back.

A new type of stretch fleece material was developed by the Swiss company Schoeller Textiles for PHANTOMLEAF® especially for the needs of special forces: The ORU product line. Target points were:

Complete camouflage in the visual range and near-infrared range of the electromagnetic spectrum.
Reduced sheen and absolute quietness.
Lightweight and small pack size.
Breathable and quick drying.

So far, PHANTOMLEAF® products have been supplied exclusively to special military and police units in Germany and abroad. There, their effectiveness has been proven in action. Due to the great demand, PHANTOMLEAF® has decided to also offer camouflage patterns for free sale

As a result, the object to be camouflaged is much more difficult to detect from close to distant distances, against a variety of backgrounds such as grass, dry branches, leaves in different colors and brightnesses of an operational area (see camouflage pattern zones below).
