Beschreibung
The Swedish Armed Forces' STRIDSVÄST 12 combat vest (STRIDSVÄST SYSTEM 2012) is a universal, modular system that allows soldiers to customize their personal equipment to suit their individual tasks. The system is designed to sit firmly and comfortably on the body. The system can be worn either as a combat vest, chest rig or as a belt carrying system. The vest is fully equipped with MOLLE attachment straps and can be closed either with the zipper or with T-bar quick release latches. For use as a chest rig, the two upper parts of the front section are simply folded inwards and stowed in the large inner pockets. The entire set is supplied with a large mesh carrying bag with internal MOLLE webbing.

The outer material and webbing are IRR-safe and flame-retardant.

The vest was developed by SnigelDesign as the STRIDSVÄST SYSTEM in 2008 and 2,000 units were delivered to the Swedish armed forces for testing. in 2012, the combat vest was officially launched as STRIDSVÄST 12 with minor modifications. The vest on offer is a depot item manufactured from 2015.
