The Silva Map Case A4 is an all-around waterproof map case that protects the map in all weather conditions and keeps it dry. The map case is completely transparent, which means that the map does not have to be taken out to see the other side. The small corner openings allow the map pouch to be attached to a backpack or kayak. Two scales are shown on the soft and pliable distance carrying strap: 1:25 and 1:50, and it can be placed directly over a route on the map to measure distance
