The Map Case Large from Silva is a completely waterproof and dustproof map case that protects the map in all weather conditions and keeps it dry. The map case is completely transparent, which means that the map does not have to be taken out to see the other side. The Map Case Large has a Velcro strap on the short sides so you can fold it in half for easy handling. The waterproof zipper system makes it very easy to open and close. The small corner openings allow you to attach the map pouch to a backpack or a kayak. Two scales are shown on the soft and pliable distance carrying strap: 1:25 and 1:50, and it can be placed directly over a route on the map to measure the distance
