The Silva Spike Jet Zoom features a large magnifying lens for enhanced visibility of map details. The rotating compass box has 360° degree graduation, extended orienteering lines and a non-slip surface. The base plate has a removable slider at the top that allows you to measure the exact distance between two locations on the map. This way you can plan races more easily. Included are 3 separate scale controls, which can also be reversed. One has a total of 6 different scales to choose from - 1:40 k, 1:7.5 k, 1:10 k, 1:15 k, 1:3 k, 1:4 k. The template holes for start and control markers are great if you want to create your own orienteering race. The Spike Jet Classic features the Silva Jet 2.0 needle with unsurpassed stability and top-notch needle settling time performance.
