In very cold conditions, self-inflating sleeping pads can tear when rolled and valves can freeze, rendering them unusable - this is where the Snugpak Antarctica Thermal Mat comes into its own. Unlike traditional sleeping pads, the British-made Antarctica mat is filled with Snugpak's proven Softie Premier insulating filling. The Antarctica thermal mat can be used either unfolded alone or doubled up, or you can also tape two mats together to make a double mat.
