Designed to work effectively on tapered anatomies such as a K9's leg, the TacMed K9 Tourniquet is designed to be placed high on the limb. It features built-in traction technology that prevents the canine tourniquet from sliding down the animal's leg, which would result in a loss of compression. Slippage is increased when the animal is moved and released. Slippage often occurs when tourniquets or compression bandages designed for humans are used on such conical anatomy. The K9 Tourniquet addresses these issues and does so with a short application time.
