The Thermacell refill pack M-48 is a 48-hour refill pack for the MR-BP Backpacker device, consisting of 12 active ingredient platelets. The Backpacker uses its own gas cartridges, so the refill pack contains only the active ingredient plates, each of which is effective for up to 4 hours. The active ingredient plates can be stored and do not have to be used up immediately. Unused active ingredient platelets are packed in an airtight container to maximize shelf life.

A gas cartridge lasts up to 12 hours, and an active ingredient platelet lasts up to 4 hours.
Refills can be stored for long periods of time. Gas cartridge and active ingredient platelets do not have to be used in one.
The synthetic active ingredient D-Trans-Allethrin belongs to the pyrethroid family and is derived from the natural biocide pyrethrin (extracted from crysanthemums).
Scope of delivery: 12 active ingredient plates for 48 hours of protection.
