It features the Victorninox Pioneer collection's ribbed Alox scales, which give the knife a grippier, multi-dimensional finish. The curved clip integrates seamlessly behind the shell and attaches to virtually any garment. For that extra dose of rugged sophistication, the spring-integrated attachment eyelet and knotted silver paracord pendant. The durable and robust Alox shells are stamped from embossed aluminum and are treated with a special process called anodic oxidation. Thus, they are additionally protected from damage and corrosion
