The DCS Plate Carrier from Warrior Assault Systems is a lightweight armor carrier that accommodates both soft and hard ballistics in the front, rear and side integrated pockets. The carrier has multiple rows of 25mm MOLLE webbing all around, allowing for additional gear to be attached. 2 side cummerbund sides, which are attached to the lower front of the front panel with Mil Spec Velcro, allow ambidextrous opening and closing. The front panel has 3 vertical MOLLE rows and 6 horizontal MOLLE loops that allow direct attachment of immediately accessible items such as magazine pouches
The inside of the plate carrier features a 3D Spacer Mesh padding that allows heat to evaporate from the body. This, combined with its ability to direct airflow through the mesh, results in an excellent cooling effect. The 3D Spacer Mesh pad has positive compression properties that greatly improve the comfort of the user
The shoulder sections of the carrier are made of double-layer Mil Spec webbing and feature removable pads that help distribute the weight of the carrier across the user's shoulders. The pads can also be opened to allow communication cables to or hydration tubes to pass underneath. The back of the plate carrier has a recovery handle. The plate carrier has a quick release system. The quick release pull is securely mounted in the shoulder section and allows for quick separation of the front, rear and sides of the carrier into individual components. The carrier is fully adjustable at the shoulder and circumference.
