Beschreibung

The CREWMAN helmet with protection level NIJ IIIA is based on the PASGT (Personal Armour System Ground Troops protection system) helmet. It is very light and offers very good hearing and vision. It is designed for vehicle crews and for the soldiers wearing communication units with headsets. The design of the helmet allows flexible handling of the headset. The helmet has a smooth structure, light weight and robust surface. The rim of the helmet has a low-profile neoprene coating that forgives and survives some mechanical impacts.

The CREWMAN features a deep neck pullout and side cutout to accommodate wearing headsets and helmet intercom kits. A leather-covered brow pad provides sweat repellency and good comfort. The helmet harness system is equipped with a head (crown) pad. With the help of the neck pad, the helmet can be excellently adjusted for different head sizes. This also provides additional safety and prevents uncomfortable helmet movement during heavy body use.
