Short description
A bulky blade complemented with a much longer than usual handle characterizes the Walther OSK 1. This allows for different grip positions, further back for more force when chopping, or gripped shorter for more power when carving, for example, and for more control.

Beschreibung
The blade shape is equally unusual, with a recurve part, for instance for peeling off bark, and a blunt blade back surface, which can be hammered with impact reinforcement for splitting wood, for example. The tip forms a straight extension of the line of force: so you can use the knife as an improvised spear with an appropriate wooden stick. A pronounced hand guard protects the fingers from slipping forward onto the blade. This is made of 440C with a black protective coating and was made with continuous tang for greater stability, so this extends from the tip of the blade to the final strap eyelet at the rear end. The direct-injected polymer handle is equipped with anti-slip rubber inserts. A nylon sheath with puncture protection and one long longitudinal and four narrow cross loops for the belt protects the OSK 1 when not in use. Delivery includes nylon sheath, with belt loop for belts up to 9 cm wide.
