As with previous models, the new MX266 Chest Rig features laser-cut slots (2x8 slots total per side) that give the rig full MOLLE/PALS compatibility. But unlike its predecessors, the MX266 is 100% constructed with our new multiaxial laminate, making it much lighter than its predecessors (versions with CORDURA fabric®)
Keep your gear within reach - even when things get dicey.
There will come a situation when the mission requires you to lie flat on the ground while fully equipped with your gear. For this reason, we put the zipper right in the middle of the MX266. Not only does this make the rig easier and more comfortable to use, but it also eliminates the need to completely lay the rig down in order to quickly grab ammo, radio gear, and other equipment while you're in the prone position. Simply release the zipper and additional safety buckle, then position your chest rig flaps at your side for unobstructed access to your gear
One carrying system fits all.
Included with the MX266 Chest Rig is a new carrying system. Well padded and with MOLLE/PALS slots (for attaching gear) and loops (for cable and hydration tube routing), it can also be attached to all current Lindnerhof Chest Rig models. You can also set up a micro rig with this support system - simply attach this to the MX panels (MX234, MX231) and you're ready to go.
To securely attach the rig to the Velcro® surfaces on the front of your Lindnerhof carrier, Velcro adaptation points are placed on the inside of the MX266.
