Short description

The Templars Gear CIBV Cataphract plate carrier is an operational vest whose protective performance can be adjusted as needed. The Cataphract can accommodate hard ballistic plates in the size 25 x 30 cm as well as soft ballistic inserts. The vest has a removable protection area for shoulders and neck.

Templars Gear's Cataphract plate carrier provides responders with a modular protection system that can be equipped with both 25 x 30 cm hard ballistics plates and soft ballistics inserts. Additionally, a collar/shoulder module with soft ballistics can be used. The plate carrier is equipped with 11 rows of lasercut MOLLE throughout the front and also has another row of MOLLE horizontally at the bottom. The chest area has Velcro/Lasercut MOLLE for attaching pockets or patches. The use of MOLLE Velcro on the front allows for the use of removable front panels as well as traditional MOLLE pouches. Velcro cable guides are provided on the front of the sides for organization, furthermore there are MOLLE loops on the right and left in 45° orientation for PTT modules. The plate carrier is equipped with ROC buckles on the shoulders and cummerbund to allow quick donning and doffing. The cummerbund provides 5 x5 rows of MOLLE per side and can be attached/adjusted with Velcro on the back. Additionally, an elastic insert is incorporated so that the cummerbund allows for a little more freedom of movement. The back offers a attachable rescue handle and 4 x3 rows of MOLLE at the top, followed by 6 x 7 rows of MOLLE and a horizontal row. The shoulder straps are held in place with ROC buckles and can be replaced with flatter stays (included) if needed.

Removable collar/shoulder insert provides padding of mesh material. Inside, the plate carrier is fully lined with mesh material, and there are separate compartments for plates and soft ballistics. Under the cummerbund the plate carrier is cut a bit wider for soft ballistics, here 1 x 6 + 1 x 4 lasercut MOLLE have been processed on the wings. Buckles are available for optional front panels.
