The LT025/V from Lindnerhof is an ejectable plate carrier that was introduced in 2014. Now in its 2nd generation, this reliable plate carrier, now considered a true classic, has been improved for even better performance in the field. Like the original, this new version is made from 500 denier CORDURA® and continues to offer the popular features such as the ability to fully eject the carrier with a cable pull system, separate compartments for soft and hard ballistics, a removable front flap and the ability to carry soft ballistics on the side.
The developers at Lindnerhof have taken care to retain these classic features in the new A1 version, as users of the previous generation LT025/V have confirmed over the last decade that the existing set-up was good. Nevertheless, we felt and still feel that a few improvements are necessary to keep your equipment working at its best".
The LT025/V A1 discardable plate carrier meets Lindnerhof's new, improved processing standards, which cover all aspects of product design, manufacture and processing. Incidentally, these standards were largely shaped by continuous feedback from users. For example, we were able to address the problem of rapid wear of the elastic on the hip belt; the new A1 plate carrier is therefore equipped with a new, more durable elastic. With the A1 version you have more control over comfort as you can choose where you want to place the padding - front, back or both (previously only the back could be padded)!
An important feature of the LT025/V that we have retained in the new A1 version is the two-piece drop system.
This gives you two options for dropping the plate carrier:
Option 1-Pull the cable on the shoulder strap to drop the plate carrier completely (you choose the side on which you attach the drop handle for this).
Option 2-Pull the cable at the lower end of the back section to drop only the waist strap (use this option if you need to attend to a casualty or perform a medical check, but do not want to expose yourself to the greater risk associated with dropping your plates and attached equipment).
