Stopping high-powered projectiles from long guns requires a hard ballistic plate. With advanced materials, the weight of the NIJ Level III hard ballistic plate has been reduced by nearly 25%. Even though it is lightweight, the NIJ Level III plate provides better protection than steel plates. the EnGarde® TUFF-PRO- LW™ plate provides superior multi-hit protection against a variety of military ammunition. The plate is triple curved to provide maximum ergonomic comfort. The TUFF-PRO- LW™ is a hard ballistic protection plate that even floats on water. Manufacturer's warranty 5 years from date of purchase.
