The Fiskars sledgehammer L can be used to drive wooden stakes or do small demolition work. Its head has smooth sides and rounded corners and edges. This reduces the risk of material splintering and thus prevents damage and injury. It also protects the wood. The head weight of this model is three kilograms. Since the total weight is 3.9 kilograms, the 75-centimeter-long handle weighs just 900 grams. It has a core reinforced with fiberglass - which gives it more stability. The orange handle has a non-slip surface that is pleasant to the touch and also dampens vibrations. The entire tool is made of forged and hardened carbon steel, which is also tempered.
