The Gerber® MP600™ DET (Demolition Explosive Technician) was developed in cooperation with the U.S. military and remains the only approved explosive disposal unit multitool. It has a non-reflective black coating with two additional special tools for deminers/demolition technicians - a mandrel specifically for C4 explosives and a crimper for blasting caps. Due to the inside lying tools the pliers always lie well in the hand - even with strong pressure there are no bruises or painful pressure points in the palm or on the fingers. All tools are located on the inside (in the legs of the pliers) and are automatically secured by the SAF.T.PLUS locking mechanism after opening. The pliers head can either be manually pushed out to the front or extended with a patented one-hand opening by a punching motion. Supplied with MOLLE compatible nylon pouch with Velcro closure.
