The Nexus Level III+ Stand Alone protection plate is made of Dyneema and weighs only 1.4 kg. Each plate measures 25 x 30 cm and is only 2.1 cm thick from front to back. The double curvature plate allows for a comfortable anatomical fit and is recommended for use as a front plate
The Nexus Level 3+ Stand Alone can be worn independently and requires no additional soft ballistics. The NIJ Level III+ Stand Alone protection rating provides balanced protection against the following calibers:
6 hits 9mm FMJ RN at 436 m/s.
6 hits .357 SIG at 448 m/s.
6 hits .44 Mag SJHP with 436m/s.
