The barrel cleaner felts of the company Niebling Waffenpflege are ideal for cleaning their weapon at a normal degree of contamination. Felts clean the barrel of a gun easily and quickly as well as gently and thoroughly. The application of the felts is simple. The felts are attached to a felt holder that is attached to a cleaning rod and pushed through the barrel in this manner. By pushing through the barrel, debris is picked up by the felt and thus removed from the barrel. Depending on the type of gun, cleaning can vary. Equally variable are the cleaning agents and oils with which the felt can be soaked. Soaking the felt allows the respective cleaning agent to be distributed cleanly and evenly in the barrel. Cleaning by means of cleaning felts is enormously important to remove deposits that contaminate the gun after each shot. Deposits such as plastic, lead or powder residues can contaminate the barrel of the gun. Even if this is not visible to the naked eye at first, felts, for example, should be used regularly. Every deposit, no matter how small, means resistance which can affect the velocity, twist and ballistics of the bullet.
