Oakley has developed laser eye protection in collaboration with the US Army Special Operations Command, as well as the Naval Special Warfare Dev.Group (DEVGRU), formerly SEAL TEAM 6 (Special Forces Maritime Warfare). This protection has become essential with the ever increasing use of tactical battlefield lasers. LASER characteristics: optical density of 4.0 minimum, wavelengths between 820nm and 850nm. Optical density measured in both eye positions with an IPD of 64nm. Optical power, refractive power, astigmatism and optical clarity meet or exceed requirements ANSI Z87.1-1989. Requirements standard ANSI Z80.3-2001 met. Impact Resistance: Equals or exceeds ANSI Z87.1 requirements for high impact velocity and high mass impact. Laserlens lenses are replaceable. Durable and scratch resistant like all other SI-Frame lenses. A-Frame interchangeable lenses additionally with anti-fog coating. A-Frame Google Laser lens, optimized for better wearing comfort with combat helmets, due to lower goggle profile. Delivery only to authorities with proof.
