This is the entry-level model in the Silva Scout series, which means it has the necessary features and is straightforward - so you get the headlamp with the lightest weight and longest burn time in the Scout 3 series
The Scout 3 is equipped with Silva Intelligent Light, a unique combination of a wide beam and a close beam. This means less head movement and a clear view of near and far obstacles: So you'll always have the balance and confidence to move fast and perform better.
This is an easy to use headlamp. The large on/off button makes it easy to operate the headlamp even when wearing gloves. In addition, the Scout 3 is waterproof to IPX5 standard. The low weight of the headlamp and the wide, non-slip headband ensure a comfortable fit even during long use.
The Scout 3 features hybrid technology, which means that the battery compartment is compatible with both the included standard AAA batteries and a rechargeable Silva hybrid battery (item 515669), sold separately. This gives you the flexibility to use your headlamp for many different activities.
