The Woolpower Zip Turtleneck 400 is designed as a middle layer - to optimize thermal insulation between the underwear close to the skin and the outer layer worn to protect against wind and moisture. The material is circular knitted on special machines and therefore comes with very few seams. This has the advantage that the garments worn directly on the body do not chafe, making them particularly comfortable and wear-resistant. The cuffs are elastic and knitted into the material. The slightly extended back prevents the penetration of cold. All Woolpower products are manufactured - from the yarn to the finished sewn garment - in Östersund/Northern Sweden. Wool is one of nature's functional materials. Until now, no one has succeeded in artificially producing a fiber that has such fantastic properties as wool. Wool is self-cleaning to a certain degree and does not smell unpleasant even when the body sweats. Since wool fibers can absorb up to 30 percent of its own weight in moisture without feeling damp. Absorption heat is developed as the moisture is absorbed, so our products are still warm even when damp. Ullfrotté Original can be machine washed at 60 °C.
